Barbara Luraschi, also known as Sweet Janis, is an internationally  sugar artist from Como, Italy. Over the past years, she has built a reputation for her creations, characterized by their pastel hues and intricate modeling techniques. A passionate teacher, Barbara travels the world teaching in-person modeling classes

NEW BOOK “MAKING SUGAR DOLLS”

In October 2023, Barbara proudly launched her first book, Making Sugar Dolls. This highly anticipated release showcases her expertise and unique style, offering readers a comprehensive guide to creating expressive and lifelike sugar doll models. The book is a testament to her commitment to sharing her craft with a global audience.

She has been an ambassador for Saracino products, and a guest tutor for Pretty Witty Cakes. Barbara continues to inspire sugar artists globally with her talent and innovative techniques. Her artistry and teaching have been featured in prestigious events, including:
